WAR - Collector's Edition - Ultra Rare 1992 US PROMO-ONLY Box Set from Rhino RecordsDirect from Rhino Records, stored in garage since received. You are buying the exact set in photos.This is the legendary black textured box with gold embossed "WAR COLLECTOR'S EDITION" and "FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY" stamped in gold on the side of the lid. This was never sold in stores - issued to radio / industry only in 1992 by Avenue Records / Rhino Records (R2 71192).Contents - All 7 CDs still factory sealed with Super Saver stickers:
1. WAR - War (Debut) - sealed 2. All Day Music - sealed 3. The World Is A Ghetto - sealed 4. Galaxy - sealed - Super Saver sticker 5. Deliver The Word - sealed - Super Saver sticker 6. Why Can't We Be Friends? - sealed - Super Saver sticker 7. WAR Live (2-CD live set in one case?) - Actually photo shows Live 2-CD set with orange hype sticker - "80 MINUTE LIVE FEATURING" - sealed, with promo cut on jewel case (see note)
Plus outer box: Black lift-top box 11" x 5" x 2" - very clean, light scuffs from garage storage, gold lettering crisp.IMPORTANT NOTE ON PROMO CUTS:
2 of the CDs have a small promo cut / notch on the jewel case edge (industry standard to mark promotional issue).
