Sonny Rollins - Plus 4 - 1973 Prestige LPR-8877 w/insert - mono -There is some disagreement in databases over whether the regular issue is1973 or 1974. Japanese dealer and discographic evidence supports1973 for the initial issue, while a number of catalogs classify the standard LPR-8877 as1974. Originally recorded in 1956 and featuring a great quintet withMax Roach/Clifford Brown/Richie Powell and George Morrow making it an important album as Clifford and Richie were both killed in an auto accident 3 months after the session making this one of their final recordings.SLEEVE - some light foxing at top front and back, one corner bump of note but overall clean and clean insert VINYL -nice gloss, no marks, nice inlay, 2 pops at beginning of side 1 but rest of album plays great, nice copy!
