Offered is a lot of five vintage Stereo 8-track cartridges featuring various-artists compilation albums from the 1970s. This is a fun collection of classic rock, pop, disco and soft-rock hits featuring numerous well-known artists.

Included in this lot:

1. Star Power – All Original Hits
K-Tel compilation in orange/red cartridge.
The label lists artists/tracks including Meat Loaf, Player, Paul Nicholas, England Dan & John Ford Coley, The Babys, Boogie Nights, Peter Brown, David Soul and others.

2. High Voltage – The Supercharged Hits of Today
K-Tel – TU 2748
Black cartridge. Includes music by artists such as Gino Vannelli, Eric Clapton, Toto, Little River Band, The Alan Parsons Project, Hall & Oates, Foreigner, Robert Palmer, Eddie Rabbitt and others.

3. Right On Rock – Top Pop Hits Vol. 26
Black cartridge. Compilation featuring recreated/simulated versions of popular hits including songs associated with Donny Osmond, Barry White, Tony Orlando, Ringo Starr, Led Zeppelin, Chicago and Barbra Streisand.

4. British Gold – Various Artists
Sire Records – S 224095 – 1978
White cartridge. Features classic British and rock artists including The Bee Gees, Peter & Gordon, Cream, Derek and the Dominos, The Kinks, Elton John, The Hollies, Van Morrison, Manfred Mann, The Troggs and others.

5. Gold Rush \'79 – Volume 2
K-Tel International – 1979
Yellow/cream cartridge. Various-artists compilation featuring songs by Amii Stewart, Floyd Cramer, Peaches & Herb, The Doobie Brothers, Melissa Manchester, Natalie Cole, Hot Chocolate and others. Gold Rush \'79 was issued on 8-track as a two-tape Volume 1/Volume 2 set.

These are pre-owned vintage 8-track tapes in good overall collectible condition with age-related wear.

All 5 tapes are UNTESTED. Playback and sound quality are unknown and are not guaranteed.

The cartridges show varying amounts of scratches, scuffs, discoloration, marks and storage/handling wear. Labels also show age-related wear, including staining, creases, wrinkles, edge wear and deterioration.

The Star Power cartridge has particularly heavy label wear, including significant wrinkling, creasing, tears and lifting/deterioration. The remaining cartridges also have varying cosmetic wear as clearly shown in the photos.

Due to their age, vintage 8-track tapes may require servicing or repair, including replacement of pressure pads, sensing foil/splices or other internal components before reliable playback.
