She has dents. She has stains. She has battle scars. But LOOK AT THOSE JACKETS. This fabulous little 1960s survivor still has its mop-top band, dancing mod girl, detective birds and even a tiny gramophone inside. She may no longer be ready for a night at the club—but she absolutely deserves an encore.

Fair vintage condition / distressed / sold AS IS.

This record case has significant age- and use-related wear and is being offered as a vintage collectible in its present condition.

Condition issues include:

* Heavy edge and corner wear

* Separation and deterioration along portions of the case edges/seams

* Staining and discoloration

* Surface dirt/marks

* Interior staining and dark marks

* Wear and discoloration to metal latch hardware

* Wear to carrying handle

* Writing/ink over the original owner-name area

* Age-related wear, bending and discoloration to interior record sleeves/pages

* General scuffs, scratches and cosmetic wear throughout

Despite its condition, the colorful exterior character artwork remains remarkably charming and displayable.

No restoration has been attempted.

Description

Wonderful vintage 45 RPM record carrying case, likely dating from the 1960s and featuring wonderfully quirky British-Invasion-era artwork.

The front shows three mop-top musicians dressed in blue plaid jackets and colorful ties, complete with guitar, microphone and drums.

Flip it over and the fun continues with a stylish young couple in decidedly groovy clothing.

Even the tiny cartoon birds are dressed for the occasion—one appears in a detective-style cap!

Inside, the case retains its original record-storage pages/sleeves along with charming graphics of an old-fashioned gramophone and records beneath the words:

“These Records Belong To”

The original owner’s name has been scribbled over.

This is not being represented as official Beatles merchandise, but the mop-top hairstyles and mod styling wonderfully capture the look of the British Invasion era.

It has clearly been well loved and is far from pristine, but that’s also part of what makes it such a fun survivor.
