Very rare Yoko Ono hand written Christmas card 1981 Dakota staff John Lennon:
$257.95

Very rare Yoko Ono hand written Christmas card from 1981. Unusual in that it shows Yoko and Sean along with various other members of her Dakota building staff.
I was informed that the first version was taken by Paul Goresh , but Yoko was unhappy with the result and asked Bob Gruen to take it instead.
I have included in my photos the names of some of the staff members shown on the card . There is also a photo of the card sent to Paul Goresh in that year as well, which was sold at sale several years ago. Both these photos are for your information purposes only , the only item being sold is this original card itself addressed to Chris.
The photo taken is at the eastern end of Yoko’s office ( John called it the “ Inner Sanctum”. There is a piano below the painting that isn’t seen . The door behind Helen Seaman leads to the outer office, which was Richie DePalma’s domain. The card measures 5.5” x 4” and is in very good condition. The card reads “ To Chris, Wishing you a beautiful year ! Love Yoko “. I believe ‘ Chris’ may have been an employee of Apple, as I have another card addressed to her as well.
