Vatican Shadow – Coast Guard Gulf of Blood Polycarbonate Box Set /40 + American Flesh for Violence Special Edition 2xCS w/ Zine | Hospital Productions, total of 6 cassette tapes and 1 LP.An opportunity to acquire two of the more desirable Vatican Shadow limited editions together. The Coast Guard Gulf of Blood polycarbonate LP box was limited to 40 copies. Included is the American Flesh for Violence special edition limited to 91 copies with the two cassettes and accompanying zine. Both releases have been kept together as part of the same collection and are being offered as a single collector’s lot. These items are not in perfect condition, and I want to represent them honestly. The box shows signs of age and handling, including light scuffing to the printed paper, some accumulated dust, and minor warping to the cardstock. Nothing is structurally damaged, but they have the character of pieces that have been carefully kept and genuinely lived with rather than stored away untouched. The hat is a separate work with its own history. I wore it extensively during a summer trenching job, where it weathered through real industrial work. It now has a distinct, heavily worn appearance, including several holes larger than a quarter. Rather than viewing it as ruined, I see it as an object that carries the marks of its history. My hope is that it finds someone who appreciates that sense of authenticity and the immediacy of industrial art.The LP has only been played once. As you can see by the perforation in the center, it is in excellent condition. The powerful song Desert Lion Dead was exclusive to 40 people at the time of release. Posters, special printouts and pictures complement the set very well while the box cutter paints an eerie picture. The American Flesh For Blood edition came with a robust magazine full of powerful, immediate collages presumably done by Dom. The insert for the American Flesh for Violence case has a cryptic message inside. The soft plastic shells are original and came with the set in that specific orientation, expect some scuffs on the shells. The CGB cassette shell labels show minor edge rippling/waviness consistent with age and humidity. The labels remain fully adhered and legible.Ask about an extra gift that compliments the set. It is not associated with Hospital Productions, as it was crafted by myself in representation of the album contributing to the immersion. We will never forget…
