Up for sale/sale is an exceptional, investment-grade piece of 1960s Beatlemania history: an original pair of 1964 The Beatles Textured Mesh Seamfree Nylons, manufactured in England by Ballito for Scott-Centenaire Ltd.Finding these fragile nylon stockings is difficult enough, but finding an example that has remained completely factory sealed and unopened for over 60 years is incredibly rare.Condition Details:
  • Packaging Seal: 100% factory sealed. The original delicate outer cellophane wrapper is intact with no major splits, keeping the item perfectly preserved inside.
  • Paper Insert: The iconic yellow and blue cardboard liner is in Excellent condition. The colors remain remarkably bright and crisp, free from the heavy sun-fading, water staining, or severe creasing that usually plagues these paper inserts.
  • Graphic Details: Features the crisp, clean-shaven 1964 portrait artwork and facsimile signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
  • Size: Stamped Size 8½–11 (Martin Emprex / To Fit 32-33).
The stockings inside feature the woven "The Beatles" text and band face pattern along the top welt. Because this item has never been opened, the inner fabric has been perfectly shielded from dust and handling since the mid-1960s.
