Up for sale is an original factory sealed 1983 first pressing vinyl of UFOMaking Contact.

This album waspurchased at a New England record shop that closed in late 1984.It has been stored indoors and kept upright since 1984.Still sealed in shrink from the factory! Includes the original price sticker from the record shop.

Making Contactwas released onWarner Bros. Records.This is the eleventh studio album released by UFO and though not their most well known record, it has some great songs including the single \"When It\'s Time to Rock\" and starts the album off with \"Blinded by a Lie\".

UFO singer and frontman Phil Mogg recalled firing producer Gary Lyonsabout 4 weeks into the recording of Making Contact. Lyons had previously produced the band\'s last album Mechanix. Mick Glossop was brought on to finish the production on Making Contact. UFO guitarist and keyboardist Neil Carter had favorable views of working with Glossop. Glossop hasworked extensively with Van Morrison since 1976 andproduced albums for musicians of many genres. He is best known for working with punk and new wave bands like Magazine, Public Image Ltd, the Skids but has also worked with Frank Zappa, blues singer John Lee Hooker and folk singer Paul Brady, among others.

Making Contact isa fun piece of 80s hard rock and a quite rare sealed first pressing from 1983.

Condition:The shrink is in great shape overall.The original price sticker isin good shape too.

The cover has some slight wear on the corners(see photos). The cover is decently straight without any noticeable bends.

The vinyl is mint brand new old stock and never been played.
