The Strokes — Is This It (2001 US Advance Promotional CD)

This is an incredibly rare, authentic 2001 United States advance promo CD copy of The Strokes' seminal debut album, "Is This It". This promotional variant features the highly sought-after, original "nude hand" cover art that was famously withdrawn and changed for subsequent US retail CD releases.

Housed in its original cardboard sleeve wrapper, the back cover explicitly features the text "ADVANCE MUSIC ALBUM IN STORES 9/25" printed along the top left, along with legal promotional disclaimers across the bottom including "ADVANCE NOT FOR SALE".

Tracklist Includes:

1. Is This It

2. The Modern Age

3. Soma

4. Barely Legal

5. Someday

6. Alone, Together

7. Last Nite

8. Hard To Explain

9. New York City Cops (The legendary original track later replaced on standard US retail editions)

10. Trying Your Luck

11. Take It Or Leave It

Condition Notes:

• Sleeve & Disc: Brand new, unplayed, and completely pristine. The cardboard slipcase remains safely sealed in its original protective plastic wrap. Flawless corners and an entirely scratch-free disc. Perfect archive/collector grade copy.

This is a crown jewel collector's piece for any fan of alternative rock or early 2000s indie history.
