This release comes fromBaton Records of Idaho, a small regional label whose output is extremely limited and sought after by collectors of obscure U.S. garage and teen‑rock 45s. The Northwest Music Archives confirms that this 45 was issued as part of a small run under catalog number19736, with vocals byLonny (Lonnie) Gunther, who also wrote the A‑side.1

The single has drawn collector attention for decades due to:

    ✔Regional rarity

Baton was not affiliated with the better‑known New York Baton label—it was atiny Idaho imprint, producing only a handful of known releases. Surviving copies are scarce and typically appear only in advanced collector circles.

    ✔Growing garage‑rock demand

APopsikearchived sale notes this title as anIdaho garagerarity, with copies achieving significant interest and strong offers.

    ✔Unique songwriting & vocals

The A‑side was composed and sung by Lonny Gunther, tying this release to a small but passionate collector niche seeking local Northwest teen‑rock and pre‑garage material.

These details, combined with its extremely limited regional distribution, make this a standout piece for serious collectors of obscure 1950s–60s American garage/teen 45s.
