☀ SOLAR SPIN MEDIA ☀Vintage Vinyl • Carefully SelectedTarika BlueTarika BlueLP • Chiaroscuro • 1977Record DetailsArtistTarika BlueTitleTarika data-start="2195" data-end="2330" LP is not the standard commercial pressing. It is a pre-release white-label manufacturing variant of Tarika Blue. When listening side-by-side with the released album, I could not find any difference in track order, runtime or spacing between tracks. The vocals and instruments also appear to be the same.

Differences include:

• Blank tan paper labels with handwritten side designations (Side I and Side II markings are reversed)

• Alternate rear jacket artwork featuring a blue background with black text instead of the black background and blue text on the final release.

• Unique runout etchings (CR 164 A 7 / CR 164 B 7) that are different from the final release.

• Has the stamped North American Music Industries (NAMI) anvil in the runouts but lacks the George Piros ("GP") mastering initials that are on the final release.

Record: Graded G/G+ (Good to Good Plus). Fully play-tested from beginning to end. The record plays through without skips on my equipment but exhibits noticeable surface noise and some high-frequency distortion. The first tracks on each side are in G (good) condition, while the remainder of the album is generally G+ (Good Plus) Playback samples are recorded directly from the actual record being offered.
Cover: Graded G+ (Good Plus). The jacket has complete top and bottom seam splits, a prominent front-cover crease, and general handling and storage wear. The exposed white paper along the main front-cover crease and spine was filled in with black marker to improve the overall presentation. A section of the bottom left of the back cover slick has detached. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.🎧 Hear Before You Buy
