THE TRASHMEN – SURFIN’ BIRD
Garrett Records LPGA-200
Original 1964 U.S. MONO pressing
33 RPM / 12" LP

Very nice original Minnesota pressing of the legendary Surfin’ Bird LP by The Trashmen.

VINYL: Visually VG+ with excellent original gloss. There are light sleeve/scuff marks visible under strong direct lighting, but no significant scratches noted. I have personally play-tested this copy and playback is exceptional—very clear and dynamic with remarkably low surface noise. Plays closer to EX.

COVER: VG+. Attractive original jacket with strong color and presentation. Light age/storage wear, some discoloration/toning on the back, and minor edge/corner wear consistent with age. Spine remains intact and readable. No major seam splits.

LABELS: Original red Garrett Records labels are clean and attractive with only normal signs of handling.

CATALOG: LPGA-200 / LP-GA 200
FORMAT: Mono
YEAR: 1964
LABEL: Garrett Records / distributed by Soma Recording Co., Minneapolis

Includes a clean replacement inner sleeve and protective outer sleeve.

This is an especially nice-playing copy of a classic Minnesota surf/garage-rock LP. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.

Record will be securely packed in a proper LP mailer with the vinyl removed from the jacket during shipment to help prevent seam splitting.
