Soda Stereo 3 Vinyl Record Box Set Sealed Nada Personal Signos Mini LP Playable:
$34.99

This rarity, hard to find in the U.S., was brought directly from Argentina by Outfront Music, this Collectible Soda Stereo three Vinyl record box set featuring the legendary Argentine rock trio’s first three studio albums:Soda Stereo, Nada Personal, and Signos.

Each album is presented in an individual mini-LP-style cardboard sleeve reproducing its original album artwork, but the best...are PLAYABLES. All three albums remain individually sealed in their original plastic wrapping and are housed together inside a black collector’s slipcase decorated with the classic yellow Soda Stereo logo and band imagery.

Inside the Minilo packaging is the MINI version of the original record, complete with its original front and back covers, as well as the inner sleeve... in other words, it’s a miniature of the vinyl, but with the added feature of a QR code that, when scanned with a cell phone, plays the album on Spotify.

COLLECTORS INFORMATION AND/OR ANECDOTE

This set brings together the three albums that document Soda Stereo’s rapid transformation from a stylish Buenos Aires new wave trio into one of the most influential rock bands in Latin America.

The self-titled 1984 debut introduced the group’s energetic mixture of new wave, ska and pop, including “Trátame Suavemente,” “Sobredosis de TV” and “Un Misil en Mi Placard.” The 1985 follow-up, Nada Personal, expanded the band’s audience throughout Latin America through songs such as “Cuando Pase el Temblor,” “Juego de Seducción” and the title track.

Released in 1986, Signos represented another major artistic step and includes several of the band’s most celebrated recordings, especially “Persiana Americana,” “Prófugos” and “Signos.” An interesting piece of Soda Stereo history is that Gustavo Cerati reportedly considered Caja Negra as an early title for the album before ultimately choosing Signos; the phrase later became associated with collectible Soda Stereo box-set presentations.
