I believe this was recorded in 1995, and some demo tapes were sold and given to labels. Grandaddy eventually signed to Will Records. The tracklisting is handwritten on a generic Will Records tape cover, with some slightly different song title spellings from the original release. At the bottom is written “Out Summer 96”, so I’m not sure if this promo was made in 1995 or 1996. The tape labels have been hand stamped with the Will Records logo, with handwritten release info.
“Out Summer 96” never materialized, and this recording was shelved, never to get a full release, with a handful of the tracks appearing elsewhere.
Tape has been tested and sounds great.
