Pepsi-Cola Your Man in Service WWII Recorded Message 78rpm Envelope Mailer:
$25.00

Up for sale is a fascinating piece of WWII-era memorabilia: an original Pepsi-Cola "The Voice of Your Man In Service" 78 RPM voice recording record, complete with its original mailing envelope. This personalized record was sent to Mr. & Mrs. M. Kuzma at 6255 N. Campbell Ave., Chicago 45, Ill. from their loved one serving in the military:
Cpl. [or Sgt.] Kuzma 36685809
A. 2nd Regt. A.G.F.R.D. #?
Fort Ord, Calif.
The envelope features classic red Pepsi-Cola branding, the phrase "This is a recorded message from your Man in Service", and the iconic "DO NOT FOLD" banner at the bottom. The black 78 RPM record has a beautiful blue, white, and red Pepsi-Cola label that reads:
"THE VOICE OF
'MISCHKA'
YOUR MAN IN SERVICE"
COURTESY... Pepsi-Cola
This is an extremely personal and emotional wartime artifact — a soldier recording his voice on a record (likely arranged through the USO or a similar service) and having it mailed home to his family via Pepsi-Cola’s special program.
Condition:
Record appears to be in played but intact condition with visible scratches and some wear consistent with age (please review all photos closely).
Original mailing envelope is heavily worn, torn, and fragile with creases, edge damage, and paper loss — as expected from a 80+ year old mailed item.
Sold as a display/historical piece. Not tested for playability.
