Based on the images you\'ve provided, you have a very desirable piece of Southern Soul history. This is a 7-inch 45 RPM vinyl record by The Ovations, featuring the lead vocals of Louis Williams.

Here is a breakdown of what makes this record special:

Record Details

* Artist: The Ovations (featuring Louis Williams)

* Label: Goldwax Records (Distributed by Bell Records, NYC)

* Catalog Number: 322

* Release Date: Circa 1968

* Tracks:

* Side A (Plug Side): \"I\'ve Gotta Go\" (Written by Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham)

* Side B: \"Ride My Troubles & Blues Away\"

* Format: White Label Promo (indicated by \"Promotion Copy\" and \"Plug Side\" text).

Why It’s Significant

* The Goldwax Sound: Goldwax was a legendary Memphis-based label (founded by Quinton Claunch and Rudolph Russell) that rivaled Stax. It was the home of James Carr and Spencer Wiggins.

* The Songwriters: \"I\'ve Gotta Go\" was written by Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham, two of the most influential songwriters in the history of soul music (famous for \"Dark End of the Street\").

* Louis Williams: Often compared to Sam Cooke, Williams had a soaring, gospel-influenced voice that is highly revered by soul collectors worldwide.

* Promo Status: Collectors often prefer \"Promotion Copies\" because they were typically the first records pressed from a fresh master stamper, sometimes resulting in slightly better sound quality. They are also much rarer than the standard yellow-label commercial releases.

Condition & Value

The record appears to be in its original Bell Records company sleeve, which is a nice bonus. The vinyl itself shows some light surface marks, but looks well-kept.

In the collector\'s market (specifically among Northern Soul and Deep Soul enthusiasts), a clean white-label promo of Goldwax 322 can be quite valuable.
