Oliver Nelson Promo Skull Session LP Vinyl Record Jazz Funk Clean VG+ BDL1-0825:
$59.99

This is a vinyl LP copy of \"Skull Session\" by jazz composer/arranger Oliver Nelson, released in 1975 on the Flying Dutchman label (catalog BDL1-0825). The front and back covers feature the well-known airbrushed artwork — a skull with headphones on the front, and a matching \"exposed circuitry\" skull illustration on the back, both under the same rainbow motif. The jacket opens into a gatefold, with the interior showing three photographic portraits of Nelson alongside full session credits and liner notes for the album.

Cover condition is generally strong, with good gloss and no seam splits along any edge. There is minor wear at one bottom corner of the back cover (see photos), but no writing or stickers are visible anywhere on the jacket. The vinyl (both Side A and Side B) has a clean, glossy look in the label-area photos with no obvious scuffing, though we have not played the record, so groove wear and any surface noise are untested — buyers who need assurance on playability should ask before purchasing. The disc sits in a plain paper inner sleeve (not the original printed sleeve, if one existed, and no separate poster or lyric insert is included beyond the printed gatefold panel).

Label design is the standard cream Flying Dutchman logo with the pink-scarfed figure, and the trail-off matrix reads BDL1-0825-A / BDL1-0825-B, consistent with an original 1975 pressing rather than a later reissue.
