Michael Jackson's Xscape is a posthumous album that "contemporized" eight unreleased tracks from the King of Pop's vault, bringing his unfinished vocals into the modern era with productions from Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, and StarGate . This 2014 vinyl edition offers a tangible way to experience Jackson's enduring artistry, packaged in a striking gatefold foil sleeve.

🎵 Album Highlights

A Posthumous Collaboration: Executive producer L.A. Reid was granted unlimited access to four decades of Jackson's unreleased material where his vocals were already completed, tasking top-tier producers to build contemporary tracks around them .
The Vinyl Advantage: According to collector discussions, the vinyl edition of Xscape avoids a minor synchronization issue present on the CD version of "Love Never Felt So Good," where the drums in the second chorus drift slightly out of sync. The vinyl transfer is reported to be more dynamic and less "brickwalled" than its digital counterparts .
Stunning Packaging: The record comes housed in a gatefold foil sleeve, a premium presentation that gives the album artwork a metallic, reflective quality .

✔️ Key Features

All-Star Production Team: Features contributions from Timbaland (lead producer), Rodney Jerkins, StarGate, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, and John McClain .
Vinyl-Exclusive Track: The vinyl tracklist includes a special duet version of "Love Never Felt So Good" featuring Justin Timberlake, which is not found on the standard CD edition .
Premium Gatefold Foil Sleeve: A high-quality, reflective packaging that elevates the collectible nature of the release .
180-Gram Audiophile Pressing: Manufactured on heavy-weight vinyl for enhanced durability and sound quality .
Contemporized Classics: Includes modernized reworkings of fan-favorite unreleased tracks like "Chicago," "Slave to the Rhythm," and "Blue Gangsta" .
"Xscape" Title Track: The only song on the album to be "contemporized" by its original producer, Rodney Jerkins (Darkchild) .

❤️ Why You'll Love It

Superior Analog Sound: Many collectors find the vinyl mastering offers a warmer, more dynamic listening experience compared to the CD, with better instrument separation and a less compressed feel .
The Ultimate Fan Experience: This edition lets you hear Michael Jackson's vocals as the producers intended for a modern audience, while the deluxe digital editions offer the originals for comparison .
A Visual and Tactile Collectible: The foil gatefold sleeve is a standout piece of physical media, making it a worthy addition to any shelf even before you drop the needle .
A Legacy Continued: It serves as a testament to Jackson's creative process, showcasing how his vocal performances could be adapted to new musical landscapes years after they were recorded .
