MELVINS YUTHANAGIA (1990) RARE Flexidisk Fast Shipping USA • NM:
$75.00

A scarce one-sided 7-inch flexi-disc from the Melvins’ early underground period, featuring an alternate live recording of “Euthanasia.” Self-released in 1990 and featuring Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Lori “Lorax” Black, Yuthanagia predates the band’s major-label years and comes from the period when their extraordinarily heavy, experimental sound was helping shape the emerging Pacific Northwest underground. Its collector value comes from its unusual flexi-disc format, independent release, limited availability and survival rate—flexi-discs were inherently fragile and many were discarded or damaged. Clean surviving examples are consequently much harder to find than conventional Melvins records from the period, making Yuthanagia a particularly desirable piece for serious Melvins and underground-rock collectors.Originally issued without a separate picture sleeve; the artwork and credits are printed directly on the flexi-disc. Will be safely packaged.PERSONAL COLLECTION
