Iron Maiden Killers Vinyl LP 1981 US Harvest Capitol Winchester Press JAY VG/VG

Iron Maiden – "Killers" Vintage Vinyl LP (1981 US Pressing - Harvest/Capitol Records ST-12141)

Up for sale is an authentic, early 1980s US vintage vinyl pressing of heavy metal legends Iron Maiden's landmark second studio album, "Killers." This specific copy is a highly collectible manufacturing variant pressed at the historic Capitol Records Pressing Plant in Winchester, Virginia.

The deadwax runout details confirm its unique lineage, featuring a combination of "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" stamps along with the hand-etched signature of engineer Jay Maynard ("JAY") and the specialized Capitol crosshair target stamp, making it a stellar addition for classic metal collectors and variant completists alike.

Release Details:

- Label: Harvest Records / Capitol Records (ST-12141)

- Pressing Plant: Winchester, VA (Identified by the deadwax etch)

- Mastering: Capitol Mastering (Hand-etched "JAY" signature and target stamp)

- Country: US

- Format: Single LP 12" Vinyl

Tracklist:

- Side 1: The Ides Of March, Wrathchild, Murders In The Rue Morgue, Another Life, Genghis Khan, Innocent Exile

- Side 2: Killers, Twilight Zone, Prodigal Son, Purgatory, Drifter

Condition & Grading:

- Vinyl Condition: Very Good (VG). Struck on heavy vintage wax. Under close evaluation, the vinyl retains a nice gloss with some light surface hairlines and paper scuffs from handling.

- Play Grade: Fully play graded and sounds great. It delivers a punchy, high-energy playback with a strong audio signal throughout. Expect light crackles during soft passages and in between tracks. The only rhythmic flaw of note is an occasional light pop heard briefly during the end of Track 2 ("Wrathchild") and continuing into the very beginning of Track 3 ("Murders In The Rue Morgue"). It does not overpower the music, and there are absolutely no skips or loops.

- Jacket Condition: Very Good (VG). The jacket is structurally sound and retains strong, legible colors. Shows moderate shelf wear, rubbing along the edges, and minor creasing around the perimeter consistent with its age. The original barcode (7777-12141-1) is crisp and fully intact on the back cover.

Shipping & Handling:

- Service: USPS Media Mail

- Handling: Safe 1-day handling time. The record is packaged securely inside a professional, heavy-duty cardboard vinyl mailer box with extra protective internal padding to prevent corner dings and edge wear during transit. Vinyl is removed from the jacket during packing to prevent seam splits.

Return Policy:

- Free returns within 30 days. Shop with confidence!
