Henry Ford – Take Me For What I Am / I Love You, And Need You (~1971)

Starfall Records 9001 | Original-Era US 45 RPM | Rare Soul

A wonderful find for collectors of obscure vintage soul! This hard-to-find Henry Ford single on the small Starfall label is a sought-after early 1970s release featuring the soulful \"Take Me For What I Am\" backed with \"I Love You, And Need You.\"

An appealing piece of vintage soul with collector interest well beyond the familiar chart hits of the era. A particularly nice addition for enthusiasts of rare soul, deep soul, and lesser-known independent-label Strong VG, approaching VG+ — A very respectable vintage copy with a few light superficial marks that appear more consistent with sleeve contact than scratches. Not flawless, but a nicely preserved record with attractive surfaces.

Playback: Carefully cleaned and play-tested twice on each side. Both sides play through nicely with only occasional light vintage crackle or pops. No skips or significant playback defects noted. Overall, a very enjoyable listening copy.

Labels: Both labels are clean and attractive, with no writing, tears, or other notable damage.

Sleeve: Generic sleeve only; no picture sleeve. Record will be supplied in an anti-static inner sleeve and securely protected in a dedicated record mailer for shipping.
