An early release from the influential British experimental post-rock trio of Kieran Hebden, Adem Ilhan and Sam Jeffers. Hebden would later become internationally known for his electronic work as Four Tet, while Ilhan established his solo career as Adem.

Anglepoised was written and performed by Fridge in “Sam’s Room” during August 1996. The release opens with the extended 15-minute title composition and continues with four shorter pieces combining post-rock instrumentation, repetition, electronics and experimental sound construction.
