Emerson, Lake & Palmer Works Volume 1, released in 1977 on Atlantic Records. This is a two-record stereo set featuring the original deluxe tri-fold cover with the embossed ELP logo on the front.

The Atlantic labels show the following matrix numbers:

Additional dead-wax markings are visible in the photos. These matrix numbers correspond to the four sides of this U.S. Atlantic SD 2-7000 pressing.

CONDITION:

Records: VG to VG+

Both records retain very good gloss and show light signs of previous handling and play, including some light surface marks/scuffs visible under strong lighting. I do not see any major deep scratches in the photos. Both records have been tested and sound great.

Cover: Good to VG

Original deluxe tri-fold cover with embossed ELP logo. The cover shows normal storage wear from over the years, including edge and corner wear, rubbing, scuffing and some age-related discoloration/spotting on the interior. The cover is still holding together well and does not have major seam splits. The interior contains the original photographs, lyrics and album information.

Highlights include Keith Emerson's Piano Concerto No. 1, Greg Lake's C'est La Vie, and the full-band performances of Fanfare For The Common Man and Pirates.

Overall, this is a nice-playing copy of the 1977 Atlantic double-LP set with its distinctive original tri-fold presentation.
