Devo – Can U Take It? (1979, Rubber Robot Records, Limited Edition)

A Near Mint copy of one of the rarest Devo collectibles out there — still in its original shrink, limited to just 500 copies, and looking absolutely awesome nearly five decades on.

Can U Take It? is an 1979 release on Rubber Robot Records capturing Devo at their most raw and confrontational — the jerky rhythms, the sardonic wit, the proto-synth-pop energy that made them unlike anything else on the planet. With catalog number RR-001, this is the very first release on the label, and a genuine artifact of the band's early underground years. Copies in this condition, still in shrink, are extraordinarily hard to come by.

Format: LP, Limited Edition Release
