Very cool early Big Jay McNeely LP and a surprisingly great player despite its appearance.

The vinyl has a LOT of visible scratches, scuffs and marks — please look closely at all photos. That said, I personally play-tested the entire record from beginning to end, and unbelievably it plays all the way through with minimal noise considering how rough the vinyl looks. No skips during my play test. This is definitely one of those records that plays much better than it grades visually.

VINYL: Visually rough/heavily scratched. Play-tested both sides completely. Plays through with minimal noise considering the condition. Great player copy.

COVER: Original cover is heavily worn with staining, discoloration, edge/seam wear and extensive old tape/tape repairs. Definitely not a display-condition jacket, but it has tons of vintage character and remains with the record.

Please judge cosmetic condition from the pictures. I have intentionally photographed the vinyl under strong light so the scratches and wear are visible. This is being sold as a player copy, not a high visual-grade collectible.

A killer piece of early R&B / rock & roll sax history that sounds way better than it has any business sounding.
