BIBI DEN’S TSHIBAYI THE BEST AMBIANCE 1984 Rounder Original US 1st Press LP 5012

DESCRIPTION

The Best Ambiance is a standout Afro-pop and soukous LP by Bibi Den’s Tshibayi, recorded in West Africa and released internationally by Rounder Records in 1984. The album blends smooth, dance-driven rhythms with melodic guitar work and relaxed vocal delivery, capturing the social and musical atmosphere of Central and West Africa during the early 1980s.

Tracks such as “The Best Ambiance,” “Sawambe,” and “Elisa Kouadio” highlight Tshibayi’s accessible yet deeply rooted sound, balancing groove, melody, and cultural storytelling. This copy represents an original US first pressing on Rounder Records and includes the correct original inner sleeve, making it a desirable example for collectors of African music, world music, and global groove records.
