This is an original, 2000 analog-to digital first-pressing of "One" - not to be confused with the later, updated Giles Martin stereo remixes in 2015.The double-album package contains 27 Beatles' singles that topped both the UK and US charts from "Love Me Do" in 1962 to "The Long and Winding Road" in 1970. Catalog # 7243 5 29325 1 - Barcode 7 24352 93251 1 - Runout # 5293251 A -01-1- 3. Inside the gatefold left are portraits taken by Richard Avedon in 1967. John and Paul on the left and George and Ringo on the right.The two cardboard record jackets depict 32 Beatles 45 rpm picture sleeves and contain a giant Beatles poster plastered with 126 physical picture sleeves released by EMI from their 8-year career as a band. Every single is documented - outlining when it was recorded, where it was tracked, which take was used and exactly when it hit #1 on the US and UK charts - with an introduction by Sir George Martin. Tucked inside are the four separate color 8 1/2 X 11 " enhanced, psychedelic Avedon photos of The Fab Four. The record was a massive commercial success, debuting at #1 in 35 countries and going on to sell 31 million copies.This is a definitive, collectible compilation of great chart-topping songs on just two records.
