Universal Music Argentina presents the long-awaited first vinyl edition of *Volvió la alegría, Vieja!*, the legendary second album by 2 Minutos. Released in 1995, the album preserves and revitalizes the punk power and gritty neighborhood spirit of this historic band. 2 Minutos formed in 1987 in Valentín Alsina, in the southern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires. With straightforward language and a punk rock sound, the group made an impact with its raw chronicles of neighborhood life, addressing poverty, hard labor, and the struggle to rise within the small urban cosmos of the *barrio*. Released in 1995, the album features 12 tracks, notably \"Piñas van, piñas vienen,\" which is dedicated to great Argentine boxers of the era—such as world champion Horacio Accavallo, who provides a brief introduction to the song.2 Minutos was the first Argentine punk band to tour the United States (in 1995), performing at the legendary CBGB in New York—a venue that hosted icons like the Ramones, Television, and Patti Smith. In 1996, they opened for the Ramones during the band\'s farewell world tour at River Stadium. Volvió la alegría, vieja! is an essential album in the history of Argentine rock, and it now arrives in its long-awaited vinyl edition.
