Rare 1955 Rockhill Recording acetate/lacquer transcription disc from The Voice of Firestone.

Rockhill Recording operated from 18 East 50th Street in New York City and produced professional radio and broadcast recordings. This appears to be an internal rehearsal/transcription recording rather than a commercially released record.

The Voice of Firestone was the long-running Firestone-sponsored radio and television musical program, which was being carried by ABC during this period.

This is not being represented as an original Walt Disney soundtrack recording. The label identifies the material only as “Snow White Medley.” Performers and exact musical contents have not been independently verified.

Condition:

Vintage recording shows substantial age and handling wear. Label has significant tearing/chipping and age discoloration. Record surface shows scuffs, scratches and marks. Reverse side shows additional surface wear/residue around the center area. Original paper sleeve is included and has considerable age wear, creasing, tears and edge damage.

Recording has not been play tested. Due to the fragile nature of vintage lacquer/acetate transcription discs, no attempt has been made to clean or play it.
