These records were all cleaned and then fully play tested from start to finish. Play testing these records was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! The music just makes you want to get up and rhythmicallyslink around the room, groovin' with the captivating rhythms and rich tone! This is a wonderful batch of vinyl both in appearance and sound. The covers show some wear, but still look pretty good in my opinion. The music is instrumental with wide appeal.
These are all HI Records originals that were taken care of well by the original owner. I think most people will be very satisfied with the condition and the sound quality of these nine records. This is the kind of music that truly sounds best when reproduced on vinyl.
Condition and play-test comments appear below. All of the records play great with excellent sound reproduction. There were no skips or sticks when played.All of the album covers have been placed in new, poly outer sleeves for further protection.
Following is a list of the records included with further condition and play test comments. Record grading factors in the sound quality as well as appearance. The record labels are all in decent shape with minor wear and some light spindle tracks. I'm not pointing out every little flaw on the album covers. I think you can get that information well enough by zooming in on the photos provided. Wear on most of the album covers is mild to moderate. Most corner dents/creases are small and not particularly distracting. Assume that the inner sleeves may have some wear and splits.:
- Solid and Raunchy- 1960 - Mono - The vinyl is in nice looking high-end VG Mint condition with some light surface scuffs. The record plays with great tone and sounds great with only very mild background record surface noise. The cover is in VG condition with quite a bit of wear on the edges and seam splits on top and bottom. There is some writing on the back.
- Saxy Jazz (terrific for dancing...)- 1960 - Mono - The vinyl is glossy with some light surface scuffs and is graded VG+. The record plays with wonderful sound quality and rich tone. Background record surface noise is negligible - barely heard. The front cover art looks great and includes a sticker to brag about a Cash Box award. The cover is in VG+ condition.
- Movin'- 1962 - Mono - The vinyl is in VG+ condition - mostly glossy with some light surface scuffs. The record plays beautiful with minimal background surface noise. There is a brief period of light ticks in the middle of Side 1. The front cover art looks great, but there is a surface tear on the back so I've graded the cover VG instead of VG+.
- Let's Twist Her- 1962 - Mono - The vinyl is in VG+ condition - glossy with some light surface scuffs. The record plays with super sound quality. Background record surface noise is negligible. The cover is in VG+ condition.
- The Untouchable Sound Of The Bill Black Combo- 1962 - Stereo - The vinyl is glossy with some light surface marks - VG+ condition. The record plays with wonderful sound. Background record surface noise is negligible. The cover is in VG+ condition with modest general wear.
- Bill Black Combo Goes West- 1963 - Stereo - The vinyl is glossy with some light surface scuffs. I grade it VG+ with the sound factored in. The record plays with great sound quality. Background record surface noise is minimal. The cover is in VG+ condition.
- Bill Black's Greatest Hits- 1963 - Stereo - The vinyl is in high-end VG condition with some light surface scuffs over glossy vinyl. The record plays great with minimal background surface noise. There are a few white colored marks on the front, but the album cover looks real good overall and I still give it a VG+ grade.
- Bill Black's Combo Plays The Blues- 1964 - Stereo - The vinyl is in good looking high-end VG condition with a few light surface marks. The record plays with great sound quality and mild background record surface noise. The cover is in VG+ condition with modest general wear.
- Solid And Raunchy The 3rd - 1969 - Stereo - The vinyl is in glossy EX condition with a few light marks. The record plays with wonderful sound. Background record surface noise is minimal. The cover is in VG condition with moderate general wear. The inner sleeve for this record is a cool looking Hi Records printed one in decent shape with some aging.

Zoom right in and have a good PICKUP RULES: If Free Local Pickup is offered for this item and you choose that option instead of an option to have the item shipped to you, there are a few rules to be aware of. We both have to allocate time to make a pickup work smoothly, so please understand the local pickup rules.
- Don't choose free local pickup if you are expecting the item to be shipped to you (obviously). That won't work.
- Don't choose free local pickup if you live far far away, but think you might be in the area someday. That won't work. Pickup arrangements will always be made for a specific date and time, very close to the purchase date. Please don't ask me to hold something for extended periods of time.
- Pickup arrangements will be made after payment is received for the item. I will specify a location to meet.
- Payment must be made through as soon as the item is purchased, just like for items shipped though USPS or UPS. No payments will be accepted in person. Failure to pay for the item in a timely manner may result in order cancellation.

At the time of this writing, that method is a QR code plus a six-digit code that can be found by looking at order details or in an email from .YOU MUST BRING THE PICKUP CONFIRMATION CODE WITH YOU FOR EVERY ITEM TO BE PICKED UP.I can't hand over the item(s) without first scanning the pickup confirmation code(s). The codes can be printed or can be presented on your phone ( app or email).
- Items purchased for local pickup must be picked up in a timely manner, preferably the day of purchase or the next day. If you need more time than that to pickup your purchase, we must make arrangements before the item is purchased. Orders not picked up in a timely manner, as described, are subject to cancellation and the item will be relisted for sale.

I promise to pack your item securely, no matter what it is. Everything I ship gets packed well, so don't worry about a thing.
If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.
For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can.Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible.
