The original DinkerAs used by JUKE BOX suppliers to cut largecentersin 45 vinyl records ensuring the correct size hole with minimum wowSupplied with a copy of the original instructions.This cutter simply tightens together press out thecenterensuring a crisp round hole. (unlike the cheap single cutting leg versions)We cannot accept any liability for damaged records.
Following up on response please note that this cutter operates by punching thecenterout of the record. Neither the top or bottom rotate at all, it is simply inserted through the slightly enlarged recordcenterand then the bolt is tightened till thecenterpops out. Whilst being simple to use it may benecessaryto use anAllenkey for records made of thicker or strongervinyl but rest assured this is a solid quality cutter that will cut any record precisely andaccurately.
Following up on more responsereceived, we have been advised that the original instructions advise enlarging the center hole very slightly using a tapered reamer or countersink bit in a drill, In reality we have always used a single blade on a pair of scissors as this is the fastest method and means a drill is not required.
