Zwei Herzen im Mai der in Schweden geborenen Künstlerin Bibi Johns fasst ihre Lieder aus der Zeit von 1955 bis 1957 zusammen. Bibi Johns brachte Anfang der fünfziger Jahre neuen Schwung oder wie man damals sagte Pep ins Nachkriegsdeutschland. Ihre Lieder waren Tagesschlager für den schnellen Gebrauch und unterhaltsam. Sie wurde ebenso als Filmschauspielerin bekannt; den Filmen, wo sie mitwirkte, entsprangen viele Titel, die hier zu hören sind, darunter die sehr erfolgreichen Songs `Im Hafen unserer Träume` und `Mal Regen und mal Sonnenschein`.
