An excellent collection of poems intended for classroom listening, read by Cyril Ritchard, Julie Harris, and David Wayne, with Carl Sandburg, Stephen Spender, and T.S. Eliot reading their own work.
There is no date on this cassette and information on Caedmon tapes is scarce, but the catalog number places it somewhere around 1967.Based on the jewel case, label design, and other details, this appears to be an authentic early tape release rather than one of the later reissues that are frequently (and often unwittingly) listed as \'60s / early \'70s Caedmon tapes.
The tape has been tested and sounds clean.The jewel case has scuffing on the front and back.Paper labels are intact and unmarked, though both sides have spots where the paper has slightly bowed / detached.
