Vintage 1968 ANRI Peanuts Linus & Snoopy Wood Carved Music Box - Swiss Reuge Movement

Rare vintage hand-carved wood Peanuts music box produced in Italy by ANRI under 1968 United Features Syndicate license. Features a carved Linus figure holding his classic security blanket standing beside a laying Snoopy on a painted wooden base.

The underside features a Swiss-made Reuge musical mechanical movement that plays "Release Me" when wound. Marked on the wooden base: "UNITED FEATURES SYNDICATE 1968 MADE IN ITALY BY ANRI" along with the original Reuge red sticker tag.
