Vintage Steinbach German Smoker Music Box #S767 – Fisherman in Rowboat – Swiss Reuge Movement – 100% Complete & Working!

Item Description:

Up for sale is an exceptional, highly collectible piece of authentic Erzgebirge folk art: a Vintage Steinbach Wooden Smoker Music Box (Model #S767). This beautifully hand-carved piece features a pipe-smoking fisherman sitting inside a detailed wooden rowboat christened the \"Principal III\".

Mechanical & Musical Functionality:

This item features a premium, mechanical Swiss Reuge musical movement that plays the classic waltz \"Over the Waves\" (Über den Wellen).

  • Fully Serviced & Working: The vintage movement has been carefully cleaned and lubricated. It now winds smoothly, holds a full charge, and plays beautifully.

  • Automated Rolling Action: As the music plays, the mechanical geartrain drives small hidden wheels underneath, causing the entire boat to rock back and forth and roll forward smoothly across flat surfaces.

100% Complete – Rare Variant:

On the secondary market, these smokers are almost always missing their delicate accessories. This piece is 100% complete, including:

  • The original fabric Germany flag on the stern.

  • Both original wooden oars resting in their metal oarlock loops.

  • The original wooden fishing pole complete with a dangling wooden fish.

  • The smoker components are clean, complete, and ready for incense.

Condition:

Excellent vintage cosmetic and mechanical condition. The wood retains vibrant original paint finishes, sharp details, and a gorgeous natural patina. There are no broken wood panels or missing structural parts. Please review all high-resolution photos for exact measurements and a look at the immaculate craftsmanship.

Will be double-boxed and packaged with extreme care—cushioning the delicate oars, flag, and fishing rod individually—to ensure a safe arrival. Feel free to message with any questions
