Vintage wooden mechanical music box featuring a genuine Reuge Switzerland movement.

A wonderful little piece of traditional Swiss mechanical craftsmanship. Wind the key and the pinned cylinder turns against the steel comb to produce its melody without batteries or electronics.

The music box winds and plays properly at the time of listing. The melody has not been identified.

The music box was carefully opened during inspection to view and photograph the internal Reuge mechanism, then reassembled. Photos of the mechanism are included with the listing.

Interior woodwork appears to show an older repair or replacement piece.
