Produced byThe Triton Press, Inc.N.Y.C.]Offered is a vintage rendering of a GOURD in very good condition, printed on exceptionallyheavy smooth stock. Age toning appears to be present but no particular flaws noted. It seems that it may have been trimmed to its present 16\" x 20\" size, a faint shadow of the original plate boundaries is visible. I see no actual evidence of it having been framed.
This print appears very similar to a second print that I acquired with the 2nd print presenting in its untrimmed state. I am therefore offering the Publisher and Printer information from that 2nd print for information purposes only. The \"Cucumis Tativus No. 104\" is also available for purchase.
The Triton Press, Inc. was a New York Printer in business between WWII and 1985; their business reproducing famous art pieces.This is a lovely high quality print that appears quite old, the subject quite similar to many of the gourds that are utilized for artistic and musical purposes.We invite you to visit our Shop for more Island Favorites.
