VIRGIN PRUNES - Baby Turns Blue - Ultra Rare Mint Aus pressing 1983 Stunn SSP204

This is a mint condition version of the original Australian pressing of Virgin Prune’s ultra rare Baby Turns Blue/ Walls of Jericho 12” single, released through Rough Trade’s distribution deal with Antipodean STUNN Records in 1983.

Catalogue number SSP 204.

This copy has never been played so the labels have no spindle marks and the vinyl is pristine.

This 12” has been stored in a climate controlled room since 1983. The cover has some minor compression ring wear from being stored in amongst other records for over 40 years, and there is a 1” compression crack in the spine (pictured).

This is a rare piece of Dublin avant-garde agit pop. The Virgin Prunes featured singer/songwriter, author, playwright, actor and painter Gavin Friday and The Edge’s brother Dik (Richard Evans) on guitar.
