The Art of Fritz Reiner: Verdi's Falstaff. The Met, 1949. Arlecchino. RARE:
$31.50

I am selling a rare Arlecchino issue of the great conductor, Fritz Reiner. This Arlecchino volume 12 features the complete opera Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi, on 2 CDs. This is the famed February 26, 1949 performance at the Met, with the great singers of the day, including Leonard Warren, Valdengo, Resnik, Albanese, deStefano, conducted by the legendary Fritz Reiner. For cast, please see above, including pictures. This long out-of-print sought-after issue is rare, particularly in good condition. The outer cardboard slipcover is included (another rarity!), with expected wear, though the jewel case and CDs look fine. As of this listing, there are no recent listed or sold issue on . Please message with any questions before buying. Many thanks!
