Slayer Divine Intervention CD Signed All 4 Members, Tom, Kerry, Jeff, Paul, RARE:
$229.00

Original copy of Slayer’s 1994 album Divine Intervention, personally signed by all four members of Slayer: Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, and Paul Bostaph.

I personally obtained these autographs in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 14, 2001.

At the time, I was living in Boston. Slayer was in town for the God Hates Us All tour, supporting their 2001 album God Hates Us All. The tour’s Boston date was November 14, 2001, at the Avalon.

Tour date reference: Slayer Tour Dates

Earlier that day, I went to Tower Records near Fenway Park for a Slayer signing. I purchased this copy of Divine Intervention at the store and had all four members sign it in person.

The location is also part of the story. The Tower Records I knew in Boston was located just a short distance from the Hynes Convention Center station. That original Tower Records location later became a Virgin Megastore. Around this time, Tower Records had moved to a new location near Fenway Park. I went to the newer Fenway-area Tower Records for the Slayer signing.

That evening, I went to the Avalon to see Slayer perform. The Avalon has since closed, but it was located very close to Fenway Park.

The four members who signed this CD were the same four members of Slayer’s lineup at the time:

Tom Araya – vocals / bass
Kerry King – guitar
Jeff Hanneman – guitar
Paul Bostaph – drums

This is also the four-member lineup associated with Divine Intervention.

Jeff Hanneman has since passed away, making a complete set of original autographs from this lineup increasingly difficult to obtain.

These are not reproductions, printed signatures, or later-added autographs. I personally purchased the CD and obtained all four signatures directly from the members of Slayer at the Boston signing in 2001.

The timing is especially memorable to me because November 14 is also my birthday.
