Identification & VariationsWhile original pressings from Virgin Records are highly sought after by collectors, there are a few important markers to help identify specific versions of VS 181:A1/B1 Matrix: The highly prized UK first pressing features A-1 / B-1 matrix runout etchings and "silver" (sometimes appearing silver/blue) text on the record labels. (This is one of those 1st pressing copies and the matrix numbers match this description) The the text is silver and blue as described above.

The "A&M" Rarity: The true crown jewel of this release is the withdrawn A&M Records pressing (AMS 7284), which was pressed in tiny quantities before the band signed with Virgin. These often command thousands of dollars at sale. This is not an A&M pressing.
