This vintage Schmid porcelain music box is a classic collectible from the 1980's, model number 377. Hand painted with a vibrant, glossy finish, it features a cheerful clown in a classic juggling pose atop a rotating grassy mound. When wound, the high quality musical movement plays the whimsical tune "Be A Clown" while the figurine rotates slowly and smoothly on its plastic base. This piece is in excellent condition, showing no chips, cracks, or visible repairs, and the musical mechanism functions perfectly with clear steady sound. Made in Japan, it stands as a charming example of vintage circus themed decor, ideal for collectors of Schmid music boxes and figurines. The piece stands 6" tall and the diameter is appx 3.25".
