George Kranz – “Din Daa Daa (Trommeltanz)” – 12” Vinyl – 1980s Electro / Funk / BreakdanceThrift-store find! This is a vintage George Kranz 12” featuring the legendary “Din Daa Daa (Trommeltanz)”, an unmistakable early-’80s percussion-driven electronic/funk dance track.Kranz’s signature performance combines hypnotic drum rhythms, vocal percussion and electronic production, creating one of the more unusual and instantly recognizable dance records of the era. The track became an international club and dance hit and was later associated with the 1980s breakdance/electro scene, including its appearance on the Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo soundtrack.A great record for:* 1980s electro & funk collectors
* Breakdance / old-school hip-hop collectors
* DJ crate digging
* New wave & electronic music fans
* German/European dance music collectors
* Sample hunters and producers
* Fans of unusual percussion-driven recordsThe copy I found is particularly interesting because it retains partial original shrink wrap. I have not yet played the record, so I am not making any claims about playback quality. Please examine the photos for the exact pressing, label, sleeve and vinyl condition.Artist: George Kranz
