**Item Description:**

Up for sale is a gorgeous, highly collectible **Vintage 1970s Swiss Chalet Rotating Musical Trinket Box** featuring a premium, genuine **Reuge Swiss Musical Movement**.

Beautifully crafted with traditional European folk-art charm, this wooden music box showcases a detailed miniature Alpine cabin complete with tiny window shutters, a vibrant flower box, a rustic bench, and a water trough. When wound, the entire upper green platform smoothly revolves in a circle.

The mechanical movement plays the elegant, classic melody **"Gavotte de Louis XIII."** Adding to its utility, the roof of the chalet is hinged and lifts open to reveal a secret little hollow storage compartment—perfect for holding rings, coins, or small keepsake jewelry.

The underside perfectly retains its original red, black, and gold product label reading: *"REUGE - Gavotte de Louis XIII - SWISS MUSICAL MOVEMENT."*

**Condition Details:**

* **Mechanism:** Tested and working beautifully! The musical movement winds easily, plays with clear tone, and the rotation operates smoothly. The wooden side slide-switch starts and stops the music perfectly.

* **Cosmetic Condition:** Excellent vintage condition. The wood retains a beautiful warm, rich tone, and the miniature floral elements remain bright and colorful. No major structural breaks or prominent chips detected (please inspect all high-resolution photos for close-up details).

**Approximate Dimensions:**

* Base Diameter: ~5.5 inches

*An incredibly charming piece of mid-century Swiss craftsmanship, perfect for cabin decor, vintage vanity displays, or serious music box collectors!*

Will be packed with extreme care using high-quality protective materials to ensure safe transit. Please feel free to ask any questions prior to purchasing.
