"A Gathering In The Air" radio show transcription disc. One complete 15 minute radio program on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was issued to Armed Forces Radio Service stations for broadcast to U. S. troops overseas shortly after World War Two and not available to the general public, very rare!

"A Gathering In The Air" radio program from 1946. This program is about black market goods being sold by U. S. Troops in post war Europe and Japan. The intent of the program was to tell the effects of black markets and discourage U. S. Troops from selling goods on the black market. An interesting Post-War radio program broadcast to U. S. Troops serving overseas. Cast includes Paul Frees, Howard Duff, Virginia Gregg, Hy Averback, Paul Carson and is directed by Richard Whorf of MGM.

Disc is in Excellent or better Condition with Excellent or Better Sound, Beautiful Disc!

Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. I will include a CD dub of the disc for the buyer only
