Vintage Oaxaca, Mexico Barro Negro (black pottery) singing Mermaid with guitar vase in very good condition. Circa post 1950. Measures 8” tall x 5.25” wide x 2.25” deep. The Black glaze was first discovered and used by artist Dona Rosa in 1950. Minor scuffs noted but no chips or cracks. Some have also referred this as a candle holder but is definitely a vase.
