"One Wonderful Moment"

An A3 Signed Limited Edition Print

"One Wonderful Moment" is a signed limited edition print taken from an original painting by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson.

The print shows the packed dance floor at Wigan Casino, looking down from the balcony. The scene is captured perfectly here - there's so much detail, the characters on the balcony, the hold alls, the record cases, the dancers out on the floor. The colours are vibrant, yet the shadows capture the darkness of the Casino. Looking at the print will bring a smile to your face - relive that tangible feeling of being at Wigan Casino again!!

All Neil's art is done from memory, he has been on the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's and was at the first all nighter held at Wigan Casino on 23rd September 1973. His first ever painting of Wigan Casino was completed in the week after that first night!!

Close up details from the print can be seen in images 2 to 5, plus check out the video!

Printed on 300 gram fine art paper.

Size 420 mm tall by 297 mm wide, fits a standard A3 frame.

The print will be sent with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, an example can be seen in image 6.

The print will be dispatched via Royal Mail in a secure re-enforced envelope.

This is the official site for Neil Thompson's work - beware of forgeries! Collectors demand authenticity, for this reason all our prints have Neil Thompson's "Dancing Girl" Logo printed on the reverse, see image 7.
