Vintage mp3.com DAM CDs occupy a unique niche in music collecting. Because they were manufactured on-demand in very limited quantities in the early 2000s, they are highly scarce, but their secondary market value is entirely dependent on how collectible the specific band or genre (primarily late-90s/early-2000s nu-metal, industrial, and alt-rock) is today.

Here is the complete text listing of the vintage mp3.com custom/DAM (Digital Audio Millennium) CDs shown in the image stack, transcribed exactly from top to bottom:

Denial. – DENIAL (29268)

Eternal Decision – Ghost in the Machine (20334)

Perfect Circle – Taking Chances (48503)

SFB – Reinvention (64321)

SFB – Nothingland Kings (48325)

Shovelhead – How Do You Like Me Now? (21173)

Slow Roosevelt – Starving St. Nick (19095)

Tallman – Five (promo) (57373)

Tallman – Inoculation (17125)

VIOLENT MOOD SWING – Turmoil (28620)

Eternal Decision

Album: Ghost in the Machine (1999)

Background: Formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Eternal Decision is a well-known Christian thrash/heavy metal band. They gained significant underground popularity for their massive, groove-heavy sound, which drew widespread comparison to Metallica and Pantera. Ghost in the Machine was their second full-length album. [1, 2]

Slow Roosevelt

Album: Starving St. Nick (1996)

Background: Slow Roosevelt was a prominent alternative metal and hard rock band from the Dallas, Texas area. Known for mixing aggressive riffs with melodic hooks, they became staples of the local DFW music scene alongside contemporaries like Drowning Pool. Starving St. Nick was their debut full-length studio release. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Tallman

Releases: Five (promo) and Inoculation

Background: Another notable fixture of the late 90s/early 2000s Dallas nu-metal scene. Tallman utilized MP3.com heavily to distribute early indie demos and EPs like Inoculation before going on to record highly sought-after regional heavy music. [1, 2]

SFB

Albums: Reinvention and Nothingland Kings

Background: A lesser-known indie rock or alternative outfit from the peak of the MP3.com download era. Because the platform hosted millions of songs by independent artists, many acronym-named acts like SFB lived entirely on the site's original charts before it was shut down and restructured.

Shovelhead

Album: How Do You Like Me Now?

Background: Shovelhead was a name shared by a few regional hard rock and groove-metal bands operating during the post-grunge boom of the late '90s.

Violent Mood Swing

Album: Turmoil

Background: An underground industrial rock or aggressive metal act utilizing electronic/heavy elements typical of the early-2000s independent scene.

Denial

Album: DENIAL

Background: An independent artist or band from the early days of the open-upload platform.

Standout Rarities: Releases by regional bands that went on to develop a cult following can command more. For instance, the rock band Slow Roosevelt and the nu-metal/industrial band Tallman both have dedicated collectors from that era. A combination listing of Tallman's Five (promo) and Inoculation discs has historically commanded premium interest on collector platforms
