The Mason Williams Phonograph Record is an album by classical guitarist and composer Mason Williams (with various accompaniment) released in 1968. It is Williams's most successful and most recognized album, and contains the instrumental "Classical Gas," his best known song. Mason Williams won two Grammy awards, for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Instrumental Theme, and Mike Post won Best Instrumental Arrangement on the song. In Canada, the album reached #16.All tracks are written by Mason Williams, unless otherwise noted. Arranged by Al Capps, except Overture and Classical Gas by Post and Dylan Thomas and Life Song by Williams. The first printing of the vinyl label misspelled The Prince's Panties as "Princess Panties"

MINT: only used for sealed LP's as "assumed Mint." Sealed LP's are purchased at your risk. We are not able to confirm the content of the LP, as it is sealed. If you open it - it is no longer in the same condition as it was sold and cannot be returned.
NEAR MINT: record looks like it was opened for the first time. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any 'spindle marks.' Cover: same, no visual imperfections. Shiny, with no visible defects. May have original promotional stickers.
VG+ : some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Minor signs of handling such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole.Cover: There may be some light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Should have only minor wear; it might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long). Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking or a small name inscribed.
VG: Groove wear is evident, as are light scratches that can be felt with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has some surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and ending; however, the noise will not otherwise overpower the music.
Covers: will have obvious signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won't be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or stamped a price tag on it, too.
