DESCRIPTION: Twocompilations of unreleased and rare Los Shakers material brought together inone place on this disc, making this pretty indispensable collection. TheShakers burst on the scene in Uruguaywith a look and sound that got them attention as South America's answer to the Beatles. They soon got a contract withOdeon in Argentina; Odeonbrought them to Buenos Aires, where they had incredible success with a single featuring two of their owncompositions, Break It All and More. The sound was Beatles-like, butnot an ordinary or rough copy, instead a copy of superior quality, more superiorthan many of the foreign singers of that era. Added to this, was the quality oftheir own compositions. Between 1965 and 1968 the band recorded many songsbeyond what Odeon was willing to release. In the mid-70s with the popularity ofthe band still high, Odeon opened up their vaults and issued these twoindividual collections now compiled on this single CD.

PLEASECHECK OUT MY OTHER CURRENTLY LISTED ITEMS AND store: Grooving To Paradise.

AllCDs come sealed in standard jewel cases and are US releases unless notedotherwise. mini-jackets, digi-paks, and variable (non-standard) packaging willalso be noted. Any item that does not come sealed or include an outer sleevewill be placed inside of an outer sleeve at the time it is received by me.All items that do not come sealed in an outer packaging wrap are inspected byme prior to shipping. It is not unusual to find small/tiny imperfections on theplay side of the CD disc, especially on European manufactured CDs; these smallimperfections do not affect the playback of the disc. Also an unsealed jewelcase may show light signs of warehouse/transit storage wear on the outersurface of the jewel case. If an unsealed jewel case is received by me broken,it will be replaced with a new jewel case before shipping; sealed CDs receivedwith minor cracked/damaged jewel cases will be noted as such in the item’sdescription and will be shipped as received.
